omnibus 101

12 am, midnight: lydia’s b-day!! we celebrate with long chats, some yummy veggie pizza & our neighbors, jordon from pasadena & mitch from a small town in nocal.

9am: breakfast and a quick tour around dc…we practically froze to death just to take some pix…i tried setting up the timer on the camera for a lovely group pix w/vecinos, roomy and meghan, but i got cut off…take two: just stick to the good ol’ fashion: “excuse, could you take a picture of us??” and get the shoot you’ve always wanted.

1pm: staging session, meet & greet omnibus 101…my first volunteer task for the peace corps: take a picture of each pc volunteer candidate for headquarter file…everyone assumed i was staff, pretty funny to see astonished faces when I introduced myself as a fellow volunteer.
