total satisfaction es lo único q puedo decir…hemos completado la primera fase del proyecto a.m.o.r. (ayudando a mejorar olmedo responsablemente)…el diseño y las semillas ya han hallado su puesto especial en la huerta del jardín de infantes… planté mi primer árbol, un tomate de árbol…la naturaleza también hizo una contribución magnánima al regalarnos una gran cantidad de agua ya cuando estaba yo terminando de sembrar el espiral de hierbas en el centro de las camas cultivada, o como me gusta llamarlo, el circulo de vida…

después de mi baño silvestre al aire libre, nos dirigimos a la escuela pedro fermín cevallos para compartir un poco de eco-información con los chicos del séptimo grado, y algún q otro chiquito fraterno en el aula…esta fue mi primera experiencia formal dando cátedra y estuvo alucinante!!! los chicos aprendiendo sobre elementos biodegradables, las ‘3 Rs’ (reducir, reusar, reciclar) y todos prepararon semilleros de lechuga q luego serán transplantadas a la huerta…un circulo completo.

total satisfaction is all i can say…we’ve completed the first phase of the a.m.o.r. project (helping to better olmedo responsibly)…the design and seeds have found its special place in the food garden at the kindergarten school…I planted my first tree ever, a ‘tomato of tree’ (sweet fruit, family of the other tomatoes but fruitier)…nature also made a huge contribution by giving us enormous amount of water right when I was finishing my herb spiral in the centre of the sowed beds, or what I like to call, the circle of life…

after my nature shower in the outdoors, we went to pedro fermín cevallos school to share a bit of our eco-knowledge with the kids of seventh grade, and some other young fraternal ones in the classroom…this was the first time I’ve formally given class and it was awesome!!! The kids learned about biodegradable elements, the ‘ 3 Rs’ (reduce, reuse & recycle) and they all prepared a terrarium to cultivate lettuce which will be transplanted to the food garden @ the kinder later on…a complete circle.
